Crownwood Charters provides a chauffeur service to Goodwood Festival of Speed from Berkshire, London, Surrey, and Hampshire — your driver collects you, stays with you for the day, and brings you home when you are ready to leave.

How our Goodwood chauffeur service works

Crownwood Charters offers two booking options for Goodwood Festival of Speed — hourly hire with a 5-hour minimum, or full day hire. We do not offer one-way transfers.

Your driver is with you from the moment they collect you to the moment they drop you home — so there are no loose ends, no arranging a return journey mid-day, and no waiting for a taxi when the last hillclimb run is done.

1. You book in advance. Tell us your pickup address, your preferred arrival time at Goodwood, and how many guests are travelling.

2. Your driver arrives at your door. At your door, at the agreed time, in a prepared luxury vehicle.

3. We navigate the event traffic and road closures. Multiple road closures are in force across West Sussex each day of the festival. We know the routes and we handle all of it.

4. Your driver stays with you for the entire day. While you explore the paddocks, watch the hillclimb, browse the car launches, or enjoy hospitality at Goodwood House — your driver is ready. No worrying about how you are getting back.

5. We bring you home when you are ready. Whether that is after the Supercar Shootout or earlier in the afternoon — your car is waiting, your driver is rested, and your journey home is as relaxed as the day was exciting.

Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place on a private country estate — not a purpose-built motorsport venue with motorway access. The roads in and around the estate are narrow, rural, and under significant traffic management throughout all four days of the event.

Parking at this event is on grassland across multiple car parks, and the organisers consistently recommend early arrival to secure a space. With a pre-booked chauffeur, parking is simply not your problem. You are not driving, you are not queuing for a field, and you are not walking from wherever you managed to park. 

The day you should not miss — and why transport matters most

Saturday and Sunday are the most attended days of the Festival of Speed, drawing the largest crowds to the hillclimb and the Supercar Shootout. The roads around Goodwood are at their busiest on these days, with event road closures in force across multiple routes from early morning.

If you are attending on Saturday or Sunday, your private driver navigates all of it — inbound and outbound — so the post-Shootout journey home is as smooth as the morning arrival.

What booking options are available for Goodwood Festival of Speed?

Crownwood Charters offers hourly hire with a 4-hour minimum, or full day hire. We do not offer one-way transfers to Goodwood — every booking includes your outward journey, your driver staying throughout the day, and your return journey home.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking by 15th June 2026 to guarantee your vehicle and chauffeur.

Can you cover multiple days of the festival?

Yes. We cover all four days — Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th July. For multi-day bookings, we can assign a consistent chauffeur for the full festival weekend.

Is parking included in the booking?

No. Parking is not included in the price and is not arranged by Crownwood Charters. Parking at event venues is the client's own responsibility. At most events, where you are permitted to park depends on the type of ticket, pass, or hospitality package the client holds.

What happens with the road closures around Goodwood?

Multiple road closures are in force across West Sussex. Your driver knows the event routes and handles all traffic management.

Can you collect our group from different addresses?

Yes. We plan multi-address collections regularly. Tell us your group size and pickup locations when you book and we will build the route to keep timings smooth for everyone.

Can you collect us from Heathrow or Gatwick for Goodwood?

Yes. Gatwick is approximately 35 miles from the Goodwood Estate — making it the closest major airport for international guests attending the festival. We track your flight and your private driver meets you in arrivals with a name board.

Can we have champagne or refreshments in the car?

Yes. Champagne or soda can be arranged on request — please let us know at the time of booking.

Do you sign NDAs for corporate and VIP bookings?

Yes. Non-disclosure agreements are available on request and are standard for our high-profile corporate and VIP clients.
